The City of Whitwell Hosts 63rd Annual Labor Day Parade
Beginning in 1956, the Whitwell Labor Day Parade is a family-friendly tradition that brings the community of Whitwell, Tennessee together. The 63rd annual Labor Day Parade will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6.
This year’s theme is ”Remember the Good Ole Days,” giving attendees the opportunity to reflect on fond memories. The people, floats, classic cars, and horses involved in the parade will line up at Tracy’s Hook & Grill near the RaceWay convenience store.
Due to COVID-19, the usual parade activities such as games and face painting will not occur. The public can enjoy a fireworks display that begins at dark. To learn more about Whitwell, please visit the city’s website.
