Embrace the fall weather with these fun events coming to Marion County! From fairs to jamborees, there will be fun for everyone. The annual Labor Day Parade will be returning, along with the Ketner’s Mill Fair and Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree. 

Mark your calendars for the annual Labor Day Parade returning on September 2. The parade will start around 9:00 a.m. at Builtwell Bank and end at Whitwell Ballpark. Parking will be available at local businesses near the parade route, and it is recommended to bring chairs. The parade is free for all to enjoy. If you wish to participate in the parade, you must line up by Builtwell Bank at 8:00 a.m. Don’t miss this perfect opportunity to promote your Marion County business to your neighbors!

Whitwell continues the celebration with a concert and festivities on September 2, at 5 p.m. There is a $10 admission fee at the gate. The festivities includes games for kids (at no extra cost), food vendors, concessions, fireworks, and a concert by JC Black and Silverqueen at the Whitwell Ballpark.

The Ketner’s Mill Fair will be returning October 19-20. The fair will be filled with unique arts and crafts, food trucks, live music, and activities that range from a petting zoo to wagon rides! Admission is $7 (cash only) for those 12 and up. The event will take place 658 Ketner Mill Ln, Whitwell, TN 37397 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. eastern time on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. eastern time on Sunday. Get in the halloween spirit with the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree. Enjoy an afternoon filled with trunk-or-treating, live entertainment, free carnival games, and great food!
