Sequatchie Cove Farm Produces High-Quality Food in Marion County
Sequatchie Cove Farm, located in Marion County, is a 300-acre diversified farm. The farm sits in the shadows of the Cumberland Plateau and is bordered by the Little Sequatchie River.
For over 20 years, the owners of Sequatchie Cove Farm have made it their mission to have a positive impact on the environment and provide healthy, nutrient-dense food. All of the farm’s produce is grown using organic and biodynamic practices, making it high-quality and nutritious.
The farm’s products include pork, produce and berries, Wright eggs, chicken, meadow beef, Katahdin lamb, seasonal turkey, and cheese. The farm trading post is open every Saturday from 9 to 12 p.m. CST year-round at 320 Dixon Cove Road, Sequatchie, TN 37374.
The farm’s products are also available to purchase at Main Street Farmers Market every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. EST at 1804 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408. Additionally, their eggs can be found at Piggly Wiggly in Monteagle and various places in Chattanooga and Nashville.
Four generations live and work on the farm, ranging from two to 92 years old. Everyone has an active role in accomplishing the farm’s mission to conserve the land and the environment in the most responsible manner possible.
The farm is run by Bill and Miriam Keener, Kelsey and Ashley Keener (and their kids Fletcher, Oliver, and Ella Mae), Miriam’s parents Jim and Emily Wright, and seasonal helpers.
