On Saturday, September 27 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.), head to Sulphur Springs Global Methodist Church in Whitwell for Treasured Quilts of Sequatchie Valley. Food Truck Wars & Halloween Market
October kicks off with a fun face-off and festive flair on October 4!
Food Truck Wars takes place on October 4 (10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Whitwell City Park, 13671 Highway 28, Whitwell, TN, United States). Sample a variety of culinary creations with just $1 admission—or become a flavor-taster for $25. This event is a fundraiser for the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department (Facebook Event).

Ketner’s Mill Country Arts & Crafts Fair – Whitwell
When & where:
Set your calendar for October 4-5 at Ketner’s Mill Fairgrounds (658 Ketner Mill Ln). Open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Sunday (all times listed in Eastern Timezone). This fair celebrates Appalachian culture with arts, crafts, food trucks, live music, wagon rides, and much more. Admission is $7 (cash only), kids 12 and under enter free, and parking is free.
Each year, more than 150 artisans share their creativity and talents with us through their products and demonstrations, while there are more than 20 food vendors (Texas taters and funnel cakes are just a few of the favorites), plus two days packed full of entertainment for the whole family. Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree

Joshua J. Jennings Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree will return on Saturday, October 25, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Courthouse Square in Jasper. Admission to the event is free. Trick-treating, face painting, inflatables, games, and prizes for best costume will provide fun for the whole family! While admission is free, food trucks and vendors offer items for sale. This light-hearted, festive gathering is tailor-made for kids—and for neighbors who want to celebrate autumn with laughter and candy.
Powells Crossroads’ 6th Annual BBQ Cook-Off

The BBQ Cook-off is taking place on Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Powells Crossroads Park on 188 Bailey Lane. Only 40 people’s choice bracelets will be available for $10 each.
